Two strangers meet at a railway station

While carrying a mysterious package, Mikel notices he is being followed by a black car. In an attempt to get away, he ends up at a roadside bar where he meets Sara, a girl who doesn't trust easily.

'A Pint of Plain' was filmed on location in and around Shepherd's Bush, here in West London. Because O'Sullivan enabled his actors to use improvisation and gave them no formal script, the film has a raw, gripping and truthful 'drama – documentary' feel about it.

A black saxophonist and small time crook is picked up by police on suspicion of murder. His problems multiply when the investigating officer lets his own issues influence the subsequent interrogation.
